A JOINT investigation team has been appointed to probe the suicide blast at a mourners procession in Karachi, where more than 30 people were killed and 63 injured.
The team would comprise of the officials of Intelligence Bureau (IB), Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), Rangers and Karachi police.
The team would mainly investigate that how the suicide bomber managed to enter the procession and succeed to blow himself up.
Meanwhile, the Interior Minister Rehman Malik appealed Shia scholars to postpone the planned processions of 11th and 12th Muharram especially in Karachi.
He strongly condemned the incident and said that the country is facing war like situation.
He urged the people to remain calm and peaceful and said the government is taking every possible step to curb the terrorist activities.
